Description
Job Title: Electrician - Social Housing
Location: West Sussex & Surrey - M25 Surrey Corridor
Day Rate: £230-£250 (Contract)
We are currently seeking a qualified NVQ Level 3 Electrician to work on behalf of a leading social housing provider managing over 40,000 properties across the UK. This is a contract position covering the areas of Reading and Oxford.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out Inspection & Testing for condition reporting (EICRs) on domestic electrical installations
Install smoke and heat alarms in accordance with current regulations
Perform fault finding and diagnostics on existing circuits
Undertake consumer unit (CCU) upgrades and partial rewires
Complete reactive electrical maintenance within occupied and void properties
Essential Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation (or equivalent)
BS 7671 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Level 3 Inspection & Testing (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
Valid ECS Gold Card
Proven experience working in social housing or domestic electrical environments
Additional Information:
Day rate: £230-£250, depending on experience and qualifications
Contract role with ongoing work
Van and fuel card may be provided depending on agreement
