Care Assistant

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Location: Dereham

Are you a compassionate individual with a passion for supporting others? Our client is looking for dedicated Care Assistants to join their friendly team. In this rewarding role, you will play an essential part in delivering high-quality care to their service users, ensuring their physical, social, intellectual, and emotional needs are met.

As a Care Assistant, you will:

Promote independence and respect the dignity of each service user, encouraging individual choice.Assist service users with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities.Monitor health needs in collaboration with senior staff and participate in regular assessments.Serve meals and offer assistance with eating and drinking as required.Maintain accurate observations and report any changes in service users’ conditions promptly.Attend mandatory training and adhere to the highest standards of care in line with regulatory frameworks.

The ideal candidate will possess:

A caring, compassionate nature along with exceptional communication skills.The ability to work effectively in a team and foster supportive relationships with colleagues.A strong understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to equality and diversity.An interest in continuous professional development with a willingness to attend training sessions.Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including 12-hour shifts both days and nights.
