Behaviour Support Assistants required

West and North West London

ASAP and September Start

100 per day

Veritas Education works with a wide range of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high–quality teachers and support staff for long–term, short–term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.

We are currently working with schools in West and North West London who are seeking experienced Behaviour Support Assistants to join their teams in September 2025. You will be working with students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. You will be resilient, supportive, and committed to helping young people succeed in a structured and nurturing environment.

About the Role:

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needsPromoting positive behaviour and helping manage challenging situationsSupporting students' academic and emotional development in classWorking collaboratively with teaching staff to implement personalised support strategiesThe Ideal Candidate:

Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH or behavioural difficultiesPossesses strong behaviour management skillsIs enthusiastic, proactive, and patientCan build positive, trusting relationships with students and staffHas experience using effective learning and engagement strategiesBackground in youth work, support work, care, or education is highly valuedIf you are interested in this opportunity, please respond to this advert with your CV, clearly outlining your relevant experience.
