Description

49/1 Resonant end fed kit 400 watt pep ICAS. Single FT240-43 wound with 14 awg double insulated copper wire and 100 pf 30 kv hi-stab disc ceramic capacitor, SO239 socket, ground/counterpoise connector, 3 Marine A4 stainless steel strain reliefs for mounting/coax and line strain relief, output is ceramic insulator, supplied with 21 mtrs of Mil 28D kevlar line (for 7/14/21/28MHz) connected up to marine A4 strain relief via ss thimble and ss wire lock on spool with end insulator and ss wire lock all connected ready to go and of course resin potted.
Also supplied is 1/1 isolating choke for TX shack end (not 49/1 feedpoint) made with FT240-31 Mn core and semi rigid PTFE coax and fitted with 2 x SO239 sockets offering over 35 db attenuation of returned RF at LF and coax pickup noise.
