Tartan Flying V (fabric topped project guitar)

Hi there,

Looking for a sale or interested in a swap for project guitars or random guitar/bass

Tartan Flying V - this was a first attempt at doing a fabric topped guitar (if you’re not familiar, it’s basically gluing fabric to the surfaces of the wood them layering up polyurethane and polishing it back etc)

Anyhow, the finish isn’t perfect, as you’ll see in the pics, there’s a few bits where it’s gone a bit awry. I’d replaced the pickups and pickup covers and cut and fitted a new scratchplate, the wiring and pots are original - I think the guitar was a Stag Flying V

It plays alright, it works, but it’s no precision instrument of the highest quality. It has sperzel locking tuners which are still worth a few quid on second hand market

Obvs it’s a bit unusual……a wall hanger….a bit of fun…….a conversation piece??? I dunno - not expecting stupid money, happy to consider swaps for guitars that need a bit work, or broken or are a bit random - try me
