Description
Takamine P3DC – Pro Series Dreadnought Cutaway Electro-Acoustic Guitar (Used)
A chance to own a top-quality Japanese-built Takamine P3DC, part of the Pro Series 3 range, renowned for its superb build, warm cedar/sapele tonewood combination, and stage-ready electronics. This guitar has been played, loved, and is fully opened up, offering a rich, balanced voice with excellent projection.
Specs:
• Model: Takamine P3DC (Pro Series 3)
• Body: Solid cedar top, solid sapele back & sides
• Neck: Mahogany with rosewood fingerboard
• Scale: 25.4” (645mm)
• Nut: Bone, width 42.5mm
• Electronics: CT4B II preamp with built-in tuner, 3-band EQ + Takamine Palathetic pickup
• Finish: Natural satin
• Made in Japan
Condition:
• Honest play wear: visible strumming wear below the top E string area, now covered neatly with a black scratchplate (guitar looks very presentable).
• Minor wear around the soundhole in two spots.
• Frets 1–3 show noticeable wear and will likely need a refret in the near future, though intonation remains well and the guitar plays well as is.
• Otherwise in perfect working order — electronics, neck, tuners, and setup all in solid condition.
Tone & Playability:
This guitar is very well played-in and has that “opened up” sound you only get with a loved, mature acoustic. It’s warm, resonant, and responds beautifully to both strumming and fingerstyle. Plugged in, the CT4B II preamp delivers Takamine’s classic, reliable stage sound.
