Description

The body is solid Poplar wood (the colour is described as 'Ice Blue Metallic' - it's hard to photo graph the colour right to my eyes (& depending on the light it has a bit of green tinge to it too) - I have attached one photo of the guitar advert (from which the body is from) to give you an indication of how they've portrayed/photographed it), the electrics (i.e. two single coils - which are ceramic, switches & knobs) also came from the same, the humbucker pickup is a FLEOR 52mm ceramic humbucker (the humbucker is coil split, to give a single coil vibe - this is activated by pulling up the lower tone knob)

I imported a premium flame maple neck (it's a copy of a fender Customer shop Eric Clapton 'Blackie' neck) - I did not put the Fender decals etc. on it - it came like that - they've done am excellent job (it looks/feels premium). TO EMPHASIZE - THIS IS NOT A FENDER GUITAR.

The body has had a tremolo recess routed to install a quality 2-point GTOH EV510T-FE tremolo bridge (the body originally had a vintage style six screw style bridge) - therefore you can now do tremolo pull-ups as well as dive bombs

I've attached a screenshot of the total cost of parts, it totals up to over £360 (which doesn't include the cost of getting the route done for the pickups, nor the significant manhours spent changing out the hardware!), so I'm selling it for well under the cost of the parts alone.

The guitar has barely been played (time poor!)

Condition: the guitar is in superb condition (no dings or scratches). The bridge cavity route (front edge) is a tiny bit uneven - this is due to there originally being a 6 screw vintage style tremolo fitted & the uneveness is attributed to the extreme perimeter of the screw holes, take a look at the last photo - it's a close up of the area I'm referring to (it's minimal, but if irksome, could readily be addressed by light filing along that route edge)

Needing (minor) Attention: The top E/thinnest string (& *only* the top E) was choking out at fret 17, a fret rocker revealed fret 18 to be 'proud', so the 18th fret has been filed down a little (<< the 18th fret hasn't been 're-crowned' as I didn't have a crowning file), I've raised the bridge saddle on the top E string a little- it needs frets18~22 to be be checked for 'level' (for the top E string only), see the second to last photo, I've yellow arrowed the 18th fret.

All in all a unique one-of-a-kind guitar - nobody would be able to distinguish it from a high end guitar (the only giveaway currently is the neck plate on the rear 'Donner' but if you wanted to go all full on Fender, you can source Fender style backplates easily on ebay!)
