1979 Ovation 1117 Legend bowl back acoustic guitar. Made in Conneticut USA. (6 digit serial number on silver sticker on the inside).

This is the straight acoustic , not electro version.

Pre owned good condition, used and aged but generally pretty clean overall.

Thgis is a great sounding and easy playing USA built Ovation. It features an ebony neck with diamond inlays and MOP/black raised soundhole ring.

There are small marks , and surface scratches in places. There are light wear marks to the headstock edges and corners, the back of the neck is generally in very good condition. The neck is 5 piece and you can lightly feel the 3 narrow cental pieces through the lacquer on the back of the neck.

The bowl back itself is also in great overall shape with just light signs of age and wear.

This guitar has original 80s Schaller made ovation tuners, a set of these alone sell for £80-£120 - we know because we have sold several sets.

There is some light playing wear marks on the wood of the first few frets , the frets themselves are in decent overall shape.

The strings are recent D'addario 12s and the action is good and I find this a great sounding, easy playing guitar.

I have kept this one around for a while because I really liked up but it's time to move a few bits on so here it is for sale.
