Martin HD-28V 2006

Description

Up for sale here is a truly amazing sounding Martin. This guitar has aged beautifully. It has a stunning patina and tonnes of character and mojo. It feels great to play and sounds even better! The tone of this guitar has really opened up in the 20 years it's been played. If you want a pristine case queen, this isn't it.

The 'V' in the model name is for 'Vintage'; it's not there to describe the shape of the neck, although that is a V neck. I'd never played a V neck before so I didn't know what to expect but it's REALLY comfortable to play.

It also has an LR Baggs Anthem fitted (which is worth about £250 alone).

It's currently set up for, and strung with, 12s. They still sound really crisp and new.

There's some fret wear but genuinely nothing that impacts playability or sound.

I'm going to sorely miss this guitar but I've got another HD28 and I can't justify keeping two.

Comes with original hard case which has also had a life. It's a bit worse for wear, but still does the job.

Cash or bank transfer on collection. I won't ship it by courier. No stupid offers, time wasters or scammers please.
