Martin c1 archtop 1937 - trades considered

A very special guitar and a bargain but needs must - the last 4 c1's have sold for 4k+.

Own a piece of history with very few left in the world.

The Martin C-1 was an archtop acoustic guitar with a solid Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. This model featured an F-hole model from 1937. The f hole specimens only had 786 made, of which a considerable number have been converted to flat tops over the years so at this point it is impossible to know how many exist but very, very few.

This C1 has had the necessary work to keep it going for another 90 years. Refretted, and neck refinished by a trusted vintage Martin Luthier in London meaning it is fully playable and will last for another life time. Also, with one non original replacement lacement peg, a Grover open back.

Otherwise on wonderful aged condition with lots of character and beautiful jazz box voice.

Open to very trades on high end acoustics or part exchanges for d28s, d18s, authentic series Martins or the ilk.
