Description
On offer is lovely late 1960s/early 1970s 12-string Kay K50-12 Black Roses Vintage Acoustic Dreadnought Guitar. It has a spruce laminated top, black mahogany back and sides with dual Black Roses scratchboard. There's a black lacquered body with white/red floral design while the fretboard has inlayed Mother of Pearl. There is a Kay K-5012 label inside the sound hole. These vintage guitars are really superb quality and much sought after amongst players and collectors alike and they offer a really great sound. At around 55 years old, the wood on this guitar has aged and mellowed nicely giving fantastic tones and a rich sound with plenty of volume and loads of sustain. It comes with a black Gibson strap but due to packaging and transport concerns, it has to be collection only from my Bedford address.
