Description
This is a Gibson Les Paul Swamp Ash Studio 2009 from their SmartWood series. You don't come across these every day and it is a gorgeous guitar. Its one of the lightest guitars I've ever played making it a great choice for live use and has a very open and lively sound that translates well when amplified.
There are two small scratches on the body (one front and one back- see photos) and a very slight bit of discoloration on the back. The neck is a stunning mahogany and it has the extremely rare green leaf truss rod cover. The bridge pickup has been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan Distortion and the pots have been changed to 500k ones. It hasn't been played in a good while so the frets would benefit from a polish.
The control plate has been signed by Pete Thorn and the toggle switch plate has been signed by Duff McKagan however I may choose to keep these and can supply replacement parts however if you are keen to have them on the guitar we can likely come to an agreement.
There is some room for negotiation in the price but be sensible please as these often go for upwards of £1.5k. Any questions feel free to email. Thanks!
