Description

For Sale here is my Fernandes JS100 Made In Japan V. This is a fantastic copy of a Jackson RR V and it’s made in Japan which is getting increasingly expensive these days.

The quick bits (more detail below) -
Has been Refretted
Seymour Duncan Invader pickups
Brand new Gotoh tremolo and tuners
Very clearly well used condition
It absolutely rips!

The original tremolo has been replaced with a brand new Gotoh 1996 trem (this includes the posts being swapped for the heavier duty Gotoh ones) and the tuners have been swapped for brand new Gotoh Tuners too! Also both made in Japan.

The pickups have been swapped for (previously used) Seymour Duncan Invaders. To be transparent there does seem to be a ground issue due to the metal pickguard. But I’ve always got a noise gate on so never bothered me.

It has had a refret at some point, so absolutely loads of fret life left. Though there is a tiny scratch/dent on the 10th fret between the B and E string. This can be felt when you bend down on the B string or up on the E string on that fret but other than that, not noticeable and again hasn't really bothered me.

The Metallic white finish has faded to a sort of metallic cream which looks awesome, it has lacquer checking, chips, dents, everything you’d expect from a now 30-40 year old guitar. The usual horns chips have had epoxy putty on them to replace missing finish and sculpted back to the original shape. These are now hard as a rock. This could be easily refinished if you want to. But I’ve enjoyed the real wear that is on it from a life of playing. A proper "relic" finish.

I’ve seen these online advertised for wayyy more so I think the price is fair especially given the price of proper Jacksons let alone Japanese ones. The condition is well used but its setup to play for another 40 years especially with the new trem and tuners.

It does not come with a gig bag. Currently it is collection only. Please do not ask me to ship. I will update this if I can but I do not have a way to ship it currently.
