Description
The Fender American Vintage '59 was made as part of the Fender American Vintage (AV) series, which ran from 2012 to 2017. This specific model was crafted to accurately replicate the features of a 1959 Stratocaster, including a D-profile neck, rosewood fretboard, clay dot inlays, and a 10-hole, three-ply mint-green pickguard.
This Fender American Vintage 59" Stratocaster is from (2015) and is in excellent condition for its age, especially as it's a nitro finish. The main wear is the nitro chip from the neck heal, the headstock mark and the lower body mark... In reality all hard to see.
A one point it did have different pickups but recently re-bought and installed Fender cs 59 (the same pickups it originally had) I also had to replace the volume pot. Which is now a high quality 'six string supplies pot' Also to note the case is not the original case that would have come with this instrument. This was the case I got when I bought it of someone. It offers great protection and comfort it just does not have that vintage look!
Thats the negatives out of the way now the plain and simple positives - it plays and sounds really good. The neck alone has a fantastic feel and vibe. Of course, this neck is, like the original 7.25 radius but I have no issues at all playing and bending notes. Come down give it a try these are getting increasingly hard to come by.
