This is the first to be made in Cherry Wood and was made for an American Trade Show.On its return to England it was given to me as a gift from Ashdown when I had a guitar shop in appreciation for our sales and support for Ashdown Products I retired 2 years ago and it needs to be used. At the moment it sits in my lounge as a beautiful piece of furniture. COLLECTION ONLY
The Ashdown AA-100R Acoustic Combo Amp is a NAMM 2018 addition to Ashdown's acoustic amp range. The AA-100R is loaded with 100 watts of power and a 4 x 5" Celestion speakers, with the upper 2 being tilted upwards for improved projection. Although the new AA combos are reminiscent of the late 80s and early 90s with their sound and look; they have excellent up-to-date features for modern day performances. Channel 1 (instrument channel) boasts Passive and Active inputs, as well as Gain, Bass and Treble rotary controls. The AA-100R has a Reverb division that can be conveniently turned on/off for each channel independently, whilst the sensitivity can be controlled via a single rotary switch. The 5-Band EQ allows you to shape your ideal sound, alongside the 16 position rotary control that provides a variety of pre-set reverbs to thicken the guitar's natural sound. The Ashdown 100R Acoustic Combo is equipped with post/pre-EQ XLR DI outputs that provide connection into a PA. It also features an effects loop for external effects and finally, Bluetooth connectivity that allows you to play along and practice with a connected audio device.
