Description
Aria AP-STD NL Parlour sized electro acoustic guitar. Circa 2012.
This guitar has had a Shadow endpin pre amp fitted (I looked inside with an endoscope and it say Shadow - for use with Nanoflex pickup) so I assume the Piezo is a Nanoflex and there is a 9v battery housed in an accesible pouch glued with velcro pads to the inside of the neck block. There are no controls but this is a £100+ pickup & pre amp so a nice bonus. One thing to note is this pickup seems quite 'hot' and the guitar does feedback when amplified if too high a signal or too close to the amp.
This is the second one of this model I have had in stock recently and they are a great size guitar. It has a really pleasing sound and has the kind of tone you attribute to more illustrious brands out there.
It plays nicely , looks great, feels great and sounds good, whats not to like ...
Solid Cedar ( I think) top , 14th fret neck joint ( so please bear this in mind if you are looking for a shorter scale for whatever reason) and decorative headstock and soundhole inlays. It also features solid wood body and neck binding and chrome enclosed tuners.
Its in good condition, but with some marks and signs of use , there are a few small indents, the worst of which are pictured but there are minor scuffs and signs of previous playing wear. There is some light 'milking' in the finish on the back near the heel cap as pictured.
The strings are new D'addario at the time of listing (28/02) with the fretboard oiled. It has a decent acoustic action and plays nicely.
A used guitar, great size for the couch or someone who wants a smaller bodied parlour shaped guitar.
No case, collection BS6 or BS7.
