Hello wonderful people of Harwich,
I have an exciting volunteering opportunity for you.
My name is Felia, and I work with a brilliant charity called Re-engage, dedicated to empowering older adults through social connection.
We’re passionate about creating opportunities, through tea parties, activities and calls, to help older adults and volunteers stay connected with their communities.
We're setting up a brilliant tea party in Harwich, for people who are 75+ and are looking for incredible volunteers, like you!
Could you spare two hours a month to be a volunteer driver? Pick a guest up, take them to the tea party, have a cup of tea with everyone and then bring them home again? Or... could you spare one afternoon a year to open the doors of your house and host a 2 hour tea party? Yes, that's right just 2 hours a year!
You would all be trained and checked and supported throughout your journey by the charity Re-engage. If you think you can help or would like more information then please feel free to reach out to me on here.
It's such a small commitment but it makes a huge difference.
