Description
This beautiful glass paperweight was produced by the renowned manufacturer Dartington.
It is a piece of Royal memorabilia commemorating the 1977 Silver Jubilee of the late Queen Elizabeth 2. It would thus be a welcome addition to any collection of Royal items and also of paperweights. Would make a perfect gift.
This particular example is very high quality thus heavy. It is formed of clear glass - plain on the top surface and ridged on the underside where the inscription is etched. It reads "EIIR 1977 Silver Jubilee" and has the image of a crown above the wording. The image is edged with a string of small circle and diamond shapes.
It is in immaculate pre-owned condition. Buyer must collect from Chepstow at an agreed time or I am happy to package and post for the associated costs. Needs to go asap so all sensible offers will be considered.
