I've sanded one of the table timbers to give you a better impression of what the hardwood looks like before it's oiled or stained, oil is better by the way.

The sanding took just a couple of minutes but I've deliberately left the rest for the next person as it keeps the cost down for them.

It's my large garden patio table complete with an equall size wind up parasol which needs a new home.

I've listed it as 'Fair Condition' although it's better than this but not perfect due to the weathering but as you can now see from the last two images, the sanded timber gives an idea of what it can look like.

The surface usually comes up clean with a good pressure wash, sanding and a coat of preserving oil, but as mentioned previously, that's deliberately been left for the next owner simply to keep the price as low as it is.

The sizes of the table are 1700mm diameter and 760mm high, all approx.

The parasol is large and easily provides shade for all the table occupants and the wind up system to raise and lower the parasol makes life easier with the added benefit of being able to tilt the canopy using a release button on the mast. and the apex is vented.

The base of the table has just had its cross timbers replaced and coated with lots of preservative and should last a long time.

The daft low price is simply because I now have a different style table better suited for fewer folk and anyone with a large family would find this table set up ideal.

The asking price is just to part cover the cost of the replacement timbers and preservative.

My friends say the price is too low and may be making folks think it's got to have something wrong with it but that's not the case, it's now just surplus to our needs.
One piece of the hardwood would cost more than the asking price.

The table is large and it's heavy, It will need two folk to lift it into any suitable transport, very likely a van as it's too big for a car and too heavy for a roof rack.

Next the really important bit..

You need to include a contact number with your reply as it tends to reduce the number of professional time wasters who seem be attracted to low priced items and how else would you find out where to view it!
