I am selling my Mk3 Mondeo ST TDCi. It's a decent car for the money, but I want to be completely up front about its age and condition. The price is firm because the alternative for me is to simply scrap it, which would be less hassle. As stated, this is an honest sale, and the price reflects the following known issues regarding mechanics and cosmetics:
Mechanical & Electrical Issues:
• Brakes: Slight brake judder at speed—suggests front pads and/or discs will need replacing soon.
• Heating/Cooling: Air Conditioning does not work.
• Electrics: Driver's heated seat does not work.
• Engine: The EGR valve has been blanked off.
• Tyres: Front tyres will need replacing in the near future.
• Included Extra: A spare set of part-worn winter tyres will be included in the sale.
Cosmetic & Bodywork Issues:
• General Condition: Shows the age of a car used daily. There are stone chips on the bonnet/front end and scratches in high-traffic areas.
• Rust: Signs of rust in the usual/common places for a Mk3 Mondeo.
• Bumpers/Sills: Rear bumper sag (common issue). The plastic sill on the driver's side is cracked.
• Wheels: The alloy wheels have been refurbished in the past but are now showing signs of age and wear.
