This is my late fathers 2004 Ford Mondeo 1.8 Zetec. He was the second owner and owned the car since 2005, and it's been garaged every day during his ownership. Currently it has 88,145 miles on it, and is in very good condition, bar a few scratches on the body. It had to be driven down a very narrow passageway with walls both sides to get it in and out of the garage, and I can confirm that it is very hard to do that. The car was serviced every year at a local garage, but unfortunately I don't have any paperwork for that. I have just changed the oil, oil filter and air filter, just to make sure they are all good. It's currently in my name (3rd owner) so I could get it taxed and MOT'd.

It drives very well and the engine runs like a sewing machine, really quiet with no nasty noises, gear changes are slick and it's nice to drive. It passed the MOT with no issues other than an advisory for a slightly worn inner edge on the drivers side front tyre. See the picture of that tyre - it's not that bad and has plenty of tread across the centre. All other tyres have plenty of tread. No major rust anywhere. MOT expires 16.8.2026, so has over 12 months on it.

The interior is very clean and no nasty smells or stains, although a few minor marks on the seats, and it could probably do with a valet if you want it to be mint. It's fitted with the Ford Sat Nav System, although I don't think it was ever used, so is probably well out of date. Everything works as it should, as far as I can tell, but I've only driven it 20 miles to get it MOT'd. It comes with two keys and the original Ford Owner's Manual and service book, and V5.

It's not quite a classic but, for a Ford enthusiast, it would make a great way to get a decent one, before it gets much older and the price goes through the roof. Currently looking for £1250 ono given it's condition and miles. Based near Newmarket. Cash or cleared bank transfer on collection.
