For sale is my 2006 1.8TDCI diesel Ford Galaxy 6 speed manual 7 seater with not far off full MOT which expires 15th June 2026. It has 3 previous owners and very low miles for the year at 106908. It has been very well cared for both mechanically and cosmetically. The milage will not rise as its no longer in use.
I am primarily selling the car as we are looking at venturing in to the world of caravanning and need a car with a larger towing capacity. Alongside this I no longer need a car of this size.

The galaxy drives very well with no unwanted noises. As you can see from the pictures, the outside of the car looks very good in its silver colour and is in great overall condition. There is of course the odd mark and touch up but as you can see this is not your usual abused galaxy. Please study the pictures carefully (taken 13/7/25) as they form a large part of this description. This car is huge, it can take 7 adults comfortably or all the rear seats can be folded down which turns it basically in to a van.

It has been fitted with a split screen android auto/apple car play which works excellent, the air conditioning works and is cold, it has electric windows all round (with rear tints), heated front and rear windscreen, cruise control fitted and fully working, tow bar with 13 pin electrics, leather seats for all 7 seats which all invidiously move back and forward and also recline, 4 black recently refurbished wheels (17 inch from a Kuga) with 4 not far off new, matching Toyo Proxes comfort tyres all round and its set of original wheels with winter tyres fitted. The towbar I have had fitted professionally not long after I purchased the car in 2021 (invoice to prove) and it has been used to tow my small camping trailer on an occasional basis.
The service stamps are at the following milage: 10583, 17513, 22067, 33205, 38804, 40692, 43602, 49200, 56451, 61993.

I purchased this vehicle with a view to keep it until it was ready for the scrapyard, therefore I have meticulously maintained it mechanically over the time I have had it. Plans have now changed. I purchased it 2021 from a dealer at which point it had full service history. I have since covered over 40k in it myself and maintained it well with oil changes and air filters at 4-5k intervals. Anything it needs it had had immediately. If I do not feel comfortable doing it at home I have booked it in to a garage to have it done. I would get in to this car now and drive it anywhere in full confidence. Also as an added bonus being slightly older there is no DPF to worry about.

In my ownership I have receipts for the following work: the majority of the rear suspension replaced, a cambelt fitted at 62k miles when I got it which still looks as new, a diesel filter, a towbar and 13 pin electrics and auxiliary belt. It will come with a spare rear number plate to use if you ever want to tow. Wheel alignment done just after the MOT with printout to prove. It has also had new number plates front and rear to tidy it up.

Known bad points: It has front and rear parking sensors, however these are temperamental. These however have not worked since the towbar was fitted as it picks it up and gives a continuous beep. The front right sensor is the one at fault if you wanted to get them working properly, however with the tow bar fitted there is no point. Rust is just beginning to creep through on the arches.

This is a lot of car for the money, any inspection welcome and encouraged. This is a private sale so no warranty or returns are offered. The battery will be kept on a trickle charger until sold. Book pack present with 2 keys and as mentioned only 3 previous owners. v5 in my name and at my address. Test drives will only be allowed if proof of insurance is shown. Collection from Lincoln area.
