I posted an advert on bark as I wanted my whole house decorated from top to bottom. Simon answered my ad and I invited him to come and quote me for the work. The price he gave was very competitive and he started the job the following week. He worked tirelessly every day, often staying far longer than the end of his workday, with my permission of course. We had discussed the type of pain and colours I wanted, however if anything didn't quite match up to expectations I was able to say so and Simon was happy to listen and give his opinion and suggest a solution. He worked in a very clean and organized way and I was never left with a mess to clean up after him. The end result was a beautifully decorated home that I'm very proud of. I wouldn't hesitate to ask Simon to do more work for me, and the West Midlands loss is Preston's gain. Highly recommend 😊.

Do not hesitate to hire Simon. I had the pleasure of getting to know Simon over the two weeks he spent painting my entire 4 bedroom home before I moved into it, and what a blessing he was and continues to be. From the beginning, his communication was stellar: he was clear on time frames, paint quantities ans cost estimates. Simon was very punctual: coming when he said he would and never leaving until he completed what he had planned to tackle that day. Simon was very helpful: he left other trades people and movers into the house for me while I was working. Simon's priced the work extremely affordably. I think he has a soft spot for people in need. I am a struggling single mother in a tight budget. Simon was extremely good value for money because he was kind enough to help me with extra tasks such as plumbing, gardening and general housing/decorating/renovation advice. Simon's work was immaculate. He is an extremely experienced and talented painter. He left every floor paint free and always removed any rubbish or painting by products eg empty paint cans. You won't go wrong with Simon. He is like a fairy God parent for the DIY-inept. I have referred him to a few friends and hope to keep in touch with him for future projects.

Simon has to be the slowest and rudest 'tradesman' I've ever observed. 5+ days to paint and wallpaper a small lounge is beyond reasonable and asking for £780 labour is an even bigger joke considering the amount of time you spent drinking tea and eating cakes/sandwiches in the kitchen. You left the room is a complete mess, paint all over the floor and tape left in place around skirting boards; you didn't even bother to wallpaper one of the wall sections, just threw up a single thin coat of paint. You turned up when you wanted, some days at 1pm and finished at random times, leaving a complete mess in the process. You left an elderly and VULNERABLE lady without net curtains up on several occasions because you were too lazy to put them back up, stating decorators don't do that. Carers witnessed your incompetence. It's going to cost another £250 to rectify your mess - shame on you Simon

Simon was very easy to talk to and was continually checking what I wanted him to do regarding the painting of a bedroom. His work was excellent, I am very pleased with the finished room and will definitely recommend and use him again.
