Description
Urth (formerly Gobe) CPL+ Circular Polarising Filter, 82mm thread, hardly used
Bought in 2022 directly from Urth for a Canon EF 24-70mm ƒ2.8L II IS USM lens (which has an 82mm filter thread). Have sold this lens and don't need this filter any more.
With original box and case.
The filter itself is in as-new condition. See the pictures above.
I've tried to show the difference between non-polarised and polarised sky in the pictures. Look at the colour coming through the filter in both pictures where I am holding the filter up. You can see a big difference between the two. The only difference between the two pictures is I've rotated the filter 90 degrees from one picture to the other.
The case has some signs of wear (from being in my camera bag alongside other filters and lenses). See the last two pictures.
Brand new these filters are around £90. They are not cheap because they are built well and they have a marked polarising effect (as shown in the pictures) without losing as much light as a typical polarising filter. This means you don't need to open your aperture up/decrease shutter speed/increase ISO as much.
Happy to sensibly negotiate but I am not in a rush to sell.
I have a 77-82mm step-up ring for sale here on Gumtree. If you want that with this filter then I'll add it to the sale for no extra cost.
