Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Attention all Senior Mechanical Design Engineers!

We are currently looking for a skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, to join a well-established engineering consultancy, in a permanent role. Within this role, you would be required to work on a hybrid basis from our client's London office, 3 days a week, in which you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of high-scale, sustainable building projects within the UK and across the globe. Within this position, you will play a key role in the design and delivery process of groundbreaking mechanical systems.

-Competitive salary ranging from 50,000- 60,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

-Manage the design and implementation of mechanical systems for technically advanced, high-scale building developments.

-Use software tools to aid the design process, such as Revit, AutoCAD, and IES.

-Create concise engineering calculations, specifications, and technical reports.

-Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to find and implement sustainable, efficient, and low-energy solutions.

-Guide and support junior engineers and share knowledge with the team.

-Ensure projects meet the client's requirements, sustainability goals, and building regulations.

What We Are Looking For:

-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and a chartered status is ideal.

-Previous experience as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer or a similar position, working on complex projects.

-Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and building service systems.

-Prior experience working with low carbon technologies (e.g. heat pumps) is ideal.
