Description
My client, a UK based Consultancy which specialises in Flood Risk, Drainage and Geotechnical Engineering, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to lead their Team in West, London.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Engineering (including a BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Management and have experience working within a UK based Consultancy completing flood risk assessments, surface water drainage strategies and detailed Drainage designs using Infodrainage, Microdrainage or Causeway Flow.
It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience managing projects and mentoring staff.
Typically the role will involve the following;
–Residential, Commercial, Retail, mixed–use and Industrial Development Projects across London and the South East.
–Detailed Drainage and Foul Water designs using Microdrainage and Infodrainage.
–Surface Water Management Plans.
–Sewer and SuDS designs using Infodrainage and Flow.
–Flood Risk Assessments.
–Hydraulic Modelling and GIS Mapping.
–Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients, Housing Developers and Business Associates to develop business opportunities.
