Senior Electrical Engineer - Manchester

We're supporting a respected Building Services consultancy in their search for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Manchester office. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver electrical design across projects from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practice.

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, structural, architectural) to deliver coordinated solutions.

Manage your own workload and support resource planning within project teams.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them develop technically and professionally.

Attend site visits and meetings, representing the consultancy with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications, ensuring high-quality outputs.

Contribute to sustainability-focused solutions, integrating energy-efficient and low-carbon design into projects.

What They're Looking For:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Proven experience in Building Services design within a consultancy environment.

Strong knowledge of UK regulations and industry standards.

Proficiency with design software such as Amtech/Trimble ProDesign, Dialux, and AutoCAD (Revit an advantage).

Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple projects.

A proactive, problem-solving approach with strong teamwork skills.

Working towards Chartership (CEng) or already chartered.
