Senior Electrical Design Engineer

A growing engineering practice are actively seeking a Senior level Electrical Engineer to join their team. This role has arisen due to organic growth of the team and a consistent increase in the volume of projects and their size.

They have a number of high-profile clients, which range from large developers, to private clients. Their projects typically include bespoke, high-end residential work, large commercial spaces and state-of-the-art new build developments.

About the role:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be required to work as part of a team working closely with the Electrical Technical Director, on a variation of projects. You will have experience in Residential and Commercial projects, and have a desire to develop your skills in order to progress within the company.

Great progression is on offer for the right individual and the chance to work as a Lead on some exciting projects in the region.

Responsibilities:

Carrying out design

Attend site and client meetings

Liaise across disciplines to ensure projects are complete on-time and within budget

Be able to use your own initiative and creativity to overcome obstacles

Work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Attend site meetings and carry out surveys when required

About you:

Previous consultancy experience

Degree Qualified in building services/electrical engineering

Ideally accredited by CIBSE and the IET

Desire to progress within a company and take on additional responsibility

Proficient with Amtech & Lighting Design Software.

Revit & CAD experience would be an advantage, but is not essential

Experience working on a variety of project sectors; ideally residential and commercial

Understanding of British Standards and Regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: GBP50,000.00-GBP60,000.00 per year
