Resident Engineer - Materials Handling Equipment

Location: Avonmouth, Bristol

Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP36,000 + Overtime available

Hours: Monday to Friday (Days)

Are you a multi skilled engineer looking for a site-based role with consistency, stability, and support? We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a key customer site in Doncaster. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities of the Resident Engineer:

Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs on a range of Material handling equipmentDiagnose faults and identify cost-effective solutionsBuild strong working relationships with the onsite team and customerEnsure accurate record-keeping and compliance with health & safety standards Key Requirements of the Resident Engineer:

Strong engineering background - ideally from forklifts, automotive/vehicles, plant, or similarLevel 3 engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)Previous experience in a similar engineering role (field or site-based)Excellent communication and fault-finding skills The Resident Engineer will Benefit from:
