Owen Daniels are a leading precision engineering manufacturer based in Redditch who are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their established team. This is a permanent opportunity offering long-term career progression within a dynamic and forward-thinking company supplying into the Aerospace and Automotive sectors.This role would suit a hands-on Quality professional with experience across APQP, 8D problem solving, 5 Why, PPAP, and root cause analysis, who is confident on the shop floor and has worked to 9001 standard.The Role: Supporting Quality activities across Aerospace and Automotive projectsLeading and participating in problem-solving activities (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, etc.)Liaising with internal departments and customers to resolve quality concernsReviewing and updating control plans, FMEAs, and standard operating proceduresSupporting internal and external audits (AS9100, IATF 16949)Conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actionsGenerating and reviewing PPAP and FAIR documentationDriving continuous improvement and supporting the Quality Manager The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous experience as a Quality Engineer in Aerospace and/or Automotive sectorsStrong understanding of ISO9001, AS9100, and IATF 16949Practical experience with 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, and PPAPConfident in a hands-on, shop-floor-focused environmentGood communication and problem-solving skillsAble to interpret engineering drawings and use measurement equipment If you are interested in the Quality Engineer role, please click apply now.
