Project Accountant - 12 Month Contract

You will be joining a well-established, well-respected group based close to Woking, Surrey as a Project Accountant for an initial 12-month contract as part of a growing finance team.

Your new role

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of project finances and add real value. You'll work closely with project managers and senior stakeholders, providing insight and guidance to keep projects on track and within budget.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and monitoring project budgets and forecastsTracking costs and analysing variancesProducing clear, accurate monthly reports for senior management and the boardSupporting funding and ensuring strong compliance and controls are in place Building strong relationships across teams and external partnersWhat you'll need to succeed

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experienceProven experience in project accountingStrong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesAdvanced Excel and financial systems knowledgeWhat you'll get in return
