Description
Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Production Engineer with hands–on SolidWorks 3D experience to help them drive their manufacturing capabilities paying c 39,000 based in Cheltenham GL51.
Key Responsibilities for the Production Engineer:
troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements investigate and implement actions with regards to quality of product'sinvolvement in R&D projects to ensure our clients maintains their standing within the market placecreating costing models to support new business generationgenerate CNC programmes using SolidCAM software and supporting implementationdesign of tools, fixtures and machine parts using SolidWorks 3D CAD systemproviding technical support to the sales department as requiredThe successful Production Engineer will need to have experience in the following:
5S initiatives in manufacturing and machine buildprevious experience within a manufacturing/engineering environmentexperience of using SolidWorks and SolidCAM and able to generate CNC programmes using SolidCAM softwareability and initiative to solve problems
Salary: c 39,000
Location: Cheltenham
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per work. Flexible start time between 8.00 or 8:30.
Holidays: 25 plus the statutory bank holidays
