12.85 per hour 32 hours per week Tuesday to Friday

A well–established engineering company is looking for a Part Time Technician to join their production team. This role involves following set processes, visually inspecting components, and completing the necessary documentation to support the manufacturing workflow.

Key Responsibilities

Follow detailed work instructions to carry out tasks accurately and efficiently.

Perform visual inspections on parts to check for obvious defects or deviations.

Monitor products through different stages of the process to ensure they meet requirements.

Record information clearly and accurately on production documentation and computer systems.

Follow standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and quality.

Ensure clear communication during shift handovers.

Support the smooth flow of parts through production by flagging any issues promptly.

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Comfortable following step–by–step processes and instructions.

Able to use basic computer systems for data entry and documentation.

Positive, methodical, and reliable approach to work.

Happy to work part–time hours (Tuesday to Friday).
