Mechanical Project Manager Kent & London

Salary: Up to GBP70,000 DOE + Company Van + Fuel Card

Location: Medway office (3 days) & project sites across Kent and London (2 days)

About the Company:

Our client is a leading Engineering Contractor, delivering exceptional results across education, healthcare, and commercial sectors. They are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their growing team, taking ownership of projects from start to finish.

Role Overview:

As the Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects across Kent and London. This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Project Manager who thrives on delivering high–quality work while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead mechanical projects from planning through to handover as the dedicated Mechanical Project Manager.

Oversee installations, with particular focus on heating systems and water plant rooms.

Work closely with site teams, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery.

As the Mechanical Project Manager, manage budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently.

Conduct site inspections two days a week and work from the brand–new Medway office three days a week.

Maintain clear communication between clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Ensure all work meets health & safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Projects Include:

School retrofits

New build schools

Commercial developments

Hospital and healthcare facility works

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services.

Strong technical knowledge of heating systems, plant rooms, and water services.

Ability to manage multiple projects across education, healthcare, and commercial sectors.

Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.

Full UK driving licence.
