Description
I'm recruiting on behalf of an engineering start–up company in Cirencester who are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to help develop prototypes for their new range of products.
The company operate in the telecoms, security and AI/robitics space and have some really exciting project wins already.
They're looking with someone who's fully proficient and capable with CAD (any package considered) along with prototyping and 3D printing etc. Any experience with setting up a workshop (whether thats professionally or for personal use) is of interest.
Eventually, the products will require FEAs, simulation and thermal/cold testing. Although not essential, any exposure to these aspects would be great.
ROLE: Mechanical Design Engineer
LOCATION: Cirencester
SALARY: up to 50k
Skills required for the MDE are:
3D CAD (any package considered) Prototyping, assembly and 3D printing Problem solving and self–sufficient Beneficial skills are:
Experience setting up a lab FEA / simulation experience (any package, or even just from education etc) Thermal or cold chamber testing
