Description

Maintenance Engineer (Building Services) Central LondonFull Time Permanent You will be working in a historic building in Central London, carrying out regular planned preventative maintenance work and reactive first line help desk calls on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, plumbing, chillers, boilers and kitchen equipment to the high standards.Responsibilities include: Maintenance of all mechanical installations and equipmentCarry out small works, diagnosis and fault finding on electrical circuits and equipment, read mechanical drawings and fault finding.Repair and maintain mechanical and all associated equipment.Managing the building environment using the Trend BMS system on a daily basisUndertake PPM and Reactive maintenance, reporting where necessary to the Assis-tant Building Manager (by using brief descriptions of the problems found during the maintenance routines).Undertake repairs to ventilation and heating systems including boilers, pumps, air conditioning etc.Ensure that all equipment requiring statutory checks is undertaken, with records kept for fire systems, emergency lighting etc.Communicate faults and problems so that spare parts can be quickly obtained and records maintainedEnsuring adherence and compliance with Health & Safety Regulations and the Institute Health and Safety PolicyAssist with other projects within Property Services as requested and support other trades and contractors when necessary.Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs Essential Experience Required Previous experience in a similar role providing mechanical maintenance across a breadth of maintenance disciplinesA thorough understanding of Health and Safety Regulations and associated statutory compliancePrior experience of working with stakeholders at all levels Qualifications City & Guilds Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)City and Guilds Electrical or F gasIOSH Working SafelyElectrical Safety TrainingCOSHH Training Employment benefits include:25 days annual leave + bank holidays rising with serviceA substantial suite of training and developmentFlexible working arrangementsA generous benefits package which includes gym discounts, pension plan, season ticket travel loans and health and dental plansWe are a disability confident employer.The Companies working environment is friendly and supportive, and we encourage everyone to under-stand personal differences and treat each other with respect.We are a diverse organisation, employing skilled and motivated people from all backgrounds and helping them to reach their full potential, through training and development.Sustainability is important to us, and we work hard to reduce our carbon footprint, whether that's in our buildings through lighting and heating, or encouraging staff to recycle and reduce paper consumption.
