Description

Are you a systems or electronics engineer seeking a leadership role supporting critical missile launch technologies?

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the Launch Management System (LMS) across two key programmes, Sea Ceptor and Land Ceptor.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the Design Authority for the LMS, ensuring it meets design, certification, and in–service support requirements.

Maintain oversight across disciplines such as systems, software, electronics, mechanical engineering, safety, and cybersecurity.

Manage the design evolution of both hardware and software to align with changing system demands.

Support verification, validation, and certification efforts to ensure safe and secure operation.

Foster expertise within the team, contributing to broader engineering design goals across the company.

The successful candidate will have experience or a strong interest in:

Leading the design of complex electronics subsystems.

Applying systems engineering and requirements management principles.

Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure technical goals and system–level requirements are met.

Understanding of computer–based hardware and software design.

Supporting verification processes and certification evidence gathering.
