Description

Air Liquide is a global leader in gases, technologies and services for industry and health. Our 66,000+ employees in more than 60 countries serve more than 4 million customers and patients.

Northwick Power is an affiliate of Air Liquide and is an industrial processor of food waste located in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire. The plant has been designed to handle a wide range of waste feedstocks. Through a process called Anaerobic Digestion it utilises the waste as a raw material to create methane, which in turn is used to generate electricity and gas both of which are exported to the national grids and are 100% renewable.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer to join our team in Chipping Campden. In this crucial role, you'll ensure the optimal performance of our plant's equipment through expert maintenance and repair.

Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring high–quality maintenance and repair of front–end processing, pumping equipment, digesters, ancillary equipment, heating circuits, and pasteurization systems. Completing planned maintenance tasks and accurately recording corrective actions in our computer–based maintenance system. Installing and maintaining both new and existing plant equipment. Responding promptly to breakdowns and ensuring they are thoroughly recorded. Liaising with suppliers to source critical parts and maintaining our asset database. Taking a proactive approach to improve machinery efficiency and effectiveness. Adhering to the Site Health & Safety policy in all work activities. Please note that you will also be responsible for out–of–hours engineering support (including some weekends) as detailed in the call–out rota.

Are you a MATCH?

The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, strong problem–solving skills, and a positive attitude with a desire for continuous process improvement.

We also look for–

A relevant engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical) and/or at least 2–3 years of experience as a time–served engineer. The ability to read and interpret all engineering drawings. Experience using a Maintenance Management System. Knowledge of pneumatic systems, pumps, heating systems, and hydraulic systems is desired, but not essential.
