Description
Electrical Assembly Technician We re recruiting for an Electrical Assembly Technician to join a well-established engineering manufacturer in the Tamworth area. This is a hands-on, workshop-based role assembling and wiring precision-built machinery and control panels for specialist industrial applications.
The position offers day shifts only, a clean and organised working environment, and the opportunity to work as part of a skilled, supportive production team.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical and mechanical assembly of machinery, sub-assemblies, and components
Control panel wiring from electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
Building and testing of finished machines ready for dispatch
Carrying out pneumatic installations (training can be provided)
Inspection and quality checks on completed builds
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety
Assisting with packaging, finishing, and other workshop duties
What We re Looking For Proven experience inelectro-mechanical or electrical assembly
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and wiring diagrams
Skilled in panel wiring, mechanical fitting, and fault-finding
Good practical knowledge of tools, components, and workshop safety
Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship
Team player who can also work independently
Manual handling experience beneficial (forklift licence an advantage)
