Salary: GBP35,000 to GBP54,000 (based on skills, training and competence)

Hours: 40 hours per week – flexible hours

Contract/Permanent: Permanent

Site Based/Office/Remote: This EC&I Design Engineer role is predominantly office based in Bristol and up to 2 days per week WFH

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver complex Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) solutionsEnsure compliance with ATEX, DSEAR, and Intrinsically Safe Circuit standardsCollaborate cross–functionally on multidisciplinary projects with sustainability at the coreSolve real–world problems related to instrumentation, PLCs, control panels, and hazardous areasContribute to proposals, cost estimations, and project planningStay ahead of emerging technologies and bring innovation into every projectMentor junior engineers and share your technical expertise

Requirements:

HNC or higher in Electrical/Controls Engineering (or related discipline)5+ years' experience in EC&I design–especially within ATEX/hazardous environmentsStrong working knowledge of control systems, schematics, and safety regulationsDetail–oriented, adaptable, and a proven problem–solver
