About the Role
We are seeking a Drainage Engineer to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for an engineer at an early stage of their career, looking to grow technical expertise in drainage design within the land development sector. You will receive direct mentorship from senior managers, developing the skills needed to progress toward senior and chartered roles.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design and delivery of SuDS, drainage strategies, and Section 104 drainage schemes.
Assist with the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs).
Produce technical drawings, models, and reports using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and drainage design software (InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, or Causeway Flow - desirable but not essential).
Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective, sustainable solutions.
Liaise with local authorities and statutory consultees under guidance from senior staff.
Develop your technical skills and professional qualifications under structured mentorship.
Technical Skills & Experience
Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Familiarity with Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
Knowledge or interest in learning drainage design software (InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow).
Some experience (academic or professional) in UK development and infrastructure schemes.
Keen to progress towards Chartered Engineer status.
Enthusiasm, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to learn under mentorship.
