JOB- Product Designer / Design Engineer
LOCATION- Macclesfield - Hybrid
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- GBP30,000 - GBP40,000, dependent on experience
My client is looking for a Product Designer / Design Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis in the Cheshire area. They are an expert in their field and provide Engineering Design solutions to Retail / POS industry
The Design Engineer role will involve:
Experienced using Solidworks CADDrawing components and assembliesOverview of adobe products like Photoshop and IllustratorUsed to working on Microsoft officePortfolio examples of previous work to dateExperience of 1+ years in a similar role (manufacture, engineering, design)Knowledge of manufacture and production processes importantHighly proficient in spoken and written EnglishStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience in kiosks, cabinets, vending would be good Personal specification Keen eye for detailSelf-motivated and happy to work autonomouslyPositive outlook with an enthusiastic and friendly approachFlexible and adaptable with persistent drive to learn new skills and continuously improveConfident in self-managing time to deliver accurate work to tight deadlines Role and Responsibilities
