CNC Supervisor (Nights)

Location: Commutable from Redditch, Solihull, Coventry and surrounding areas

Salary: 55,000 per annum plus overtime

Shift: Nights

A leading precision company based in Coventry are looking to add to their team due to extensive growth.

Role & Responsibilities:

The Candidate:

We are seeking an experienced Nightshift Supervisor to join our busy CNC workshop in Coventry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision engineering and CNC machining, with proven leadership skills to oversee nightshift operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety procedures are consistently met.

Responsibilities

The Nightshift Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all nightshift operations within the CNC workshop, ensuring production schedules are met efficiently and safely. Key duties include:Managing and supporting a team of shop floor machinistsAllocating workloads, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. You will coordinate machine setups, oversee job progress, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain accurate shift reports.The role also involves ensuring equipment is properly maintained, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and liaising with day shift supervisors and management to ensure smooth shift handovers and consistent operational performance.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude and good math skillsA keen eye for detail and results-driven approachGood communication abilitiesCertificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline would be beneficial
