Responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes to produce precision-engineered components according to technical drawings and specifications. The role involves selecting appropriate tooling, optimizing machining parameters, and ensuring high-quality output through careful measurement and inspection. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and experience with CNC controls such as Fanuc or Siemens are essential for maintaining efficiency and accuracy in production.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer with a strong background in setting and operating Doosan machines and programming directly at the controls using FANUC systems. They possess excellent technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to produce high-quality, precision-engineered components. Experience with ONECNC software would be highly beneficial, but it is not essential for this role.
ESSENTIAL:
FANUC controls and Doosan experienced
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Be able to programme online using FANUC
