Our client, a growing engineering consultancy, is looking for a skilled Design Engineer to join their team in Maidstone. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of UK-based experience, including temporary works, who is ready for a fresh challenge.

The Role:

This role involves designing safe, innovative temporary works solutions across a wide range of construction sectors. You'll be working on-site and in the office, producing technical drawings, reports, and designs in line with BS 5975 and CDM2015. You'll also support project delivery and contribute to planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver efficient and practical temporary works designs.Conduct site visits and surveys to inform your solutions.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope and provide proposals.Work on multiple projects, ensuring they're completed on time and within budget.Stay current with industry standards and software tools.

Requirements:

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.Experience designing for UK construction projects.Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and technical report writing.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
