Working Hours: Standard hours + overtime & call-out

ABOUT

A leading Building Energy Management Systems specialist is seeking experienced BEMS Small Works Engineers to join their expanding team. This role is ideal for engineers with strong skills in service, fault-finding, commissioning, and small works modifications.

You ll be working across a variety of commercial and public-sector environments including healthcare, leisure, education, and large-scale venues. This is a customer-facing role requiring excellent technical capability, strong communication skills, and the ability to support junior engineers as part of ongoing team development.

Commission, test, and verify new BEMS installations and upgradesDeliver small works modifications to existing systems and service systemsDiagnose and resolve complex faults across BMS controllers, control panels, field wiring and associated plantMaintain strong customer relationships and provide professional technical adviceEnsure all work is delivered on time and to specificationProduce accurate documentation and ensure compliance with industry standardsSupport and mentor junior engineers and apprentices Requirements BEMS Small Works Engineer

Minimum 5 years experience as a BEMS Controls EngineerStrong experience with TREND and/or Tridium systemsRelevant electrical qualifications (C&G Level 2 or equivalent)Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilitySolid understanding of mechanical plant and associated systemsAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyFull UK driving licenceStrong interpersonal and customer-facing skillsAbility to support junior team membersTridium N4 certificationTrend Expert status (current or former)Experience with Siemens systems (e.g., XWorks, Desigo)Understanding of ISO 9001 standards Desirable Why Join?
