The Role

As Batching Plant Manager, you'll have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the batching plant, overseeing production output, site safety, people management, and operational efficiency. You'll be a visible, hands-on leader who sets the standard on site and drives performance across all areas of the operation.

Taking full ownership of batching plant performance, output, and operational KPIsLeading and developing a site-based team across production and maintenance functionsEnsuring the site operates in full compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislationManaging plant maintenance schedules to maximise uptime and minimise disruptionOverseeing mix designs, batch production targets, and quality control processesDriving continuous improvement initiatives across batching and production processesLiaising with senior management and reporting on plant performanceManaging site budgets, costs, and resource planningBuilding a strong safety-first culture across the whole operationWhat We're Looking For

Proven experience managing a batching plant, concrete plant, or heavy aggregate production operationStrong technical understanding of batching plant equipment, mix designs, and production processesExperience managing site-based teams across production and maintenanceSolid knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance in a heavy industry settingA confident, decisive leader who can drive culture and performance simultaneouslyIOSH or NEBOSH qualification desirableThe Package
