Days/Hours: 4 days per week (definitely Tue, Wed, Thurs and 4th day could be Mon or Fri); 5 hours per day (morning or afternoon)

A private household based in Billingshurst are seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper to assist with the upkeep of their large 10-bedroom home. This is a great opportunity for someone organised, efficient and confident managing a sizeable property to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented and able to work independently, taking initiative to ensure the home remains clean, tidy and well organised. A driver is essential for this role, and the candidate must be comfortable walking the family’s two small dogs. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are required.

Duties include:

maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the home
cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas
laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
making beds and changing bed linen
keeping household spaces tidy and well presented
walking two small dogs as required
ensuring the home runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis
