Fareham

Hours: Morning and afternoon shifts availabe

Mon - Thurs (07:00 - 15:30) Fri (07:00 - 12:30)

Mon - Thurs (14:00 - 22:30) Fri (11:00 - 16:00)

Starting Salary: 29,000 - 30,400, plus beneifits, and Overtime Available.

As an Assembly Operator & Tester, you will have the opportunity to be trained in mechanical assembly for an exciting Aerospace project. You will use your assembly experience to drive the project and lead standards within a progressive company which is looking to invest in an individual for the long run.

As an Assembly Operator & Tester, you will:

Assemble & testing of a niche temperature sensor component for a well-established projectMechanically build component parts to project specificationsSet up jigs, fixtures and equipment for assembly or test purposesKeep to ongoing manufacturing operations standards and deadlinesWhat We're Looking For:

Previous experience as an Assembler or similar positionExposure to a similar industry background within a manufacturing or production environmentAn understanding of Mechanical Assembly is a strong plus but can be trainedReview engineering drawings and apply best practice to project standardsEagerness for career progression and a team-playerWhat else do you need to know?

Full training is provided at every stepThe hours for this role are on day shifts (07:00-15:30 Mon-Thu, 07:00-12:00 Fri, with earlier start/finish available!)Substantial overtime available on evenings, nights and weekends once fully trainedStandard benefits include: 25 days annual leave + 9 Bank Holidays, Dental Plan, Employee Discounts, Family-Friendly policies, generous pension contribution, and more!No visa sponsorship is provided for this role
