Location: Ponteland

Hourly Rate: £16-£20 per hour (DOE)

Shifts: Day Shift, early finish Friday

Job Description:

Due to continued expansion and increased workload, we are seeking skilled Panel Wirers to join the team. As a Panel Wirer, you will play a key role in assembling and wiring electrical control panels, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

* Fit electrical components and wiring based on schematics and drawings.

* Assemble and wire power distribution units.

* Use hand and power tools efficiently.

* Conduct panel testing as required.

* Work with both single and three-phase systems.

* Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Skills & Experience: We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

* Essential: Control panel experience, including working with single and three-phase systems.

* Previous experience in panel wiring and electrical testing (highly desirable).

* Familiarity with busbar assemblies and holding an 18th Edition qualification (preferred).

* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

* Recognised apprenticeship served (preferred).

* Proficiency in using hand tools.

* Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

* Creativity, problem-solving aptitude, and excellent communication skills.
